today i ordered my tickets for the U2 show in October (4 days after my 21st birthday no less). they were the most expensive REAL tickets (i.e. not scalped) that i've ever bought: they rang in at $250 a piece. but i got ground-level seats around the 50 yard line (the show is at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, aka the place where the Buccaneers play home games) and the way the stage is designed, anyone can see the stage and the band.
best of all, MUSE IS OPENING FOR U2! i've waited SO long to see Muse, and now i get my chance.
and is it wrong that i'm more exited to see Muse than U2?
regardless, whoever decided to put two of the best live bands in the history of time and space together for one show is a genius, and i love them for it.
damn i'm gonna have a rad summer!
