Here Comes the End of the World

This will be a long story. But I'll do my best to cut corners and make it short.

A few days ago I tried to boot up my old-ass HP. It had been working perfectly fine hours before, but for some reason every time it started to boot up it would restart itself, landing in a continuous circle of reboots. I called the local computer doctor and found out my hard drive had gone bad and that the computer was toast. It was about time though, as I have had this computer since I was in 8th grade. But all of my pictures and millions of songs I had collected on iTunes would have to be recovered.

Well to make a long story short, I bought a new computer, an iMac. Needless to say it rocks and I have been busy with a lot of its features, mainly Garage Band.

Which brings me to the topic of this post: I have created an album of 17 instrumental jams with Garage Band. The album is called "Here Comes the End of the World" and I have recorded it under the moniker "The Mayhem Project" (hey if Trent Reznor can basically call himself Nine Inch Nails, I can call myself The Mayhem Project). Check out the album art and track listing below:

1. Intro (The Ghost)
2. Shape of Things to Come
3. The United States of Corruption
4. Flash/Bang
5. Specter
6. Prototypical
7. Interlude
8. A Time That Once Was
9. Calm Before the Storm
10. Operation: Havoc
11. Even Closer
12. Wartime and Sunshine
13. Frequency
14. Devastation Recreation
15. How to Live Dangerously
16. As the Sky Fades
17. Here Comes the End of the World

Each song ranges from 0:35 to 3:39 in length, so they are short and to the point. The way the songs are composed is in the sense that they are not to outstay their welcome. Much like Nine Inch Nails' own Ghost albums, the songs on my record work best with no lyrics and multiple interpretations; take from it as you like.

I will post the first "single" from this "album" on here soon.

Stay tuned.
