Since the middle of March I have been messing around in GarageBand again, only this time with more instruments and tech to help me out. What started as messing around evolved into some cool new ideas and before I knew it, I was working on another Mayhem Project album.
I've deep into recording and writing new stuff (that's right, no more GarageBand loops, I'm actually writing stuff this time around) and have some really cool songs done so far. I've got a ton of demos and ideas down at the moment and about five or so songs actually finished. So I'm moving faster than I expected, but this record is still a ways off.
At the moment it has a working title of New Tomorrow but of course that is only temporary and most likely will change before I'm done with it. As for the sound of the record, it's definitely more piano-driven and spacey than the first record. Again, as I continue work on it and as it evolves over the course of recording it, the sound may change a bit, but definitely expect a more precise and melodic album this time around.
