Modest Mouse rolled into my hometown of St. Augustine this week. i am somewhat of a big Modest Mouse fan, so i was really pumped to see them live. besides i was going to see them play in Germany before i left, but never did. so this makes up for it.
they were absolutely amazing. they basically blew my expectations away. overall, it was an amazing show. but the idiotic crowd ruined the encore for me. before the band came back on, about 6 drunken morons decided it was a good idea to run around the stage. it was funny when the first person did it, but after 5 more did it, i was pissed. the band would have played 4 songs for the encore, but ended up only playing 2. damn you St. Augustine residents.
but i did manage to get a pretty good video:
