good ol' fashioned hootenanny

this week, MTV decided to take a break from all their crappy reality shows and self-promoting awards ceremonies to actually air some music-related stuff. MTV chose Weezer to be "Artist of the Week", which is a welcome change from such past "Artist of the Week" winners as the absolutely horrible excuse for a band Panic at the Disco. Weezer cruised around with Johnny Knoxville and played some new songs, like "King", performed by bassist Scott Shriner:
