vs.
i've already stated how i feel about the "Viva la Vida" album, but i want to add that the only gripe i have with it is that the songs "Lovers in Japan", "Yes", and "Death and All His Friends" are all two songs in one. i wish the band had split them into separate songs, that way, at least i feel, the record would flow better.
now, The Offspring record is mediocre at best, and basically a disappointment for a long-time fan such as myself. there are moments of sheer brilliance and all-out rock here, but it seems like the band has gone the Green Day way and sold out to gain more fans. this record doesn't suck, but it's just not the awesome album i'd expect from The Offspring.
aside from these new albums, i've spent the last few days hidden away in my room playing Metal Gear Solid 4. after only 15 minutes of playtime, i knew this was the best game i've ever played.
now if you'll excuse me, Solid Snake and i have a world to save.
