the world has turned and left me here

well, i've finally lost my mind and started a blog. despite feeling like a total nerd, i do feel glad that i finally have a place where i can rant and rave about whatever the hell i feel like. i mean, that's what a blog is really for, right?

anyway, if you're reading this you're either a) a friend of mine or b) a complete moron who's wasting your time here. either way, you're reading this and that's all that matters to me. if you actually care enough to check this every once and a while, i'll post things like concert and CD reviews and such, since i pretty much make music my life. but from time to time, i will talk about other stuff. but i'll mainly stick to music-related crap.

on to business. if you can't tell by the name of my blog or the title of this post, i like the band Weezer. they have a new record out, and it's called "the red album", possibly because it's red? i don't know. anyway, i heard it about a week before it came out, and i have to say, i love this damn album. sure it has nerdy lyrics and even southern rapping in it, but hey, it's classic Weezer, and i love it. so don't let the bad reviews, southern rap verses, or really odd cover art (below) put you down.
