Number 9: Radiohead - OK Computer

It took me a long time to really get into Radiohead because when I first heard them I thought it was just a jumble of guitars and electronics and weird lyrics. And Thom Yorke's voice didn't do much for my ears. But once I got a hold on OK Computer, things changed. I still think (along with In Rainbows) is the most accessible Radiohead album, and any casual or new fan should start with it first. This album came right after The Bends and right before the band's mind-bending masterpiece Kid A and it shows, it's both electronic and pure rock.
I have since gotten to love every one of Radiohead's albums, but for some reason OK Computer stuck with me. Songs like "Karma Police" (which almost everyone knows) and "No Surprises" are ones only Radiohead can deliver. I tend to like bands that make music that sounds unlike anything else out there, and Radiohead definitely makes music that no one else can. OK Computer has intelligence, style, and beauty; everything a Radiohead album should have.
There isn't much for me to say about this album except that it rules and if you haven't already checked it out, do so really soon.
My Favorite Tracks:
"Karma Police", "Airbag", "Lucky"
